 Welcome to the GABtree Genealogy web site. This site was designed by my awesome husband, Patrick, for the sole purpose of being able to share and learn more about our family history. He has been a witness to the many different avenues I have pursued in obtaining interesting stories and history thus far relating to my family, particularly my great-grandfather, Charles A. Smith (which you will learn more about later). Thanks so much, Patrick, for providing this avenue for me to share and learn more about my family.

It is with a heavy heart that I share the news that my father passed away on Friday, September 14. Once again my husband, Patrick, shared his giftings in videography and created a wonderful video montage tribute to dad that was shown at dad's service on Tuesday, September 18. Please feel free to view the video below and enjoy this special tribute. If you knew dad, it will bring about good memories of him. If you did not know him, you certainly will get a sense of who he was as a husband, father and friend. Enjoy and make sure to turn your sound on!! You will be missed Dad!!
